Starting an edible garden can feel overwhelming at first. There are so many variables to consider: sunlight, watering strategy, vegetable and fruit selection, etc. The list goes on, but by starting with one goal and then the next and then building upon that last one, it is amazing how a successful garden will grow into place. 


After years of growing experience on CSA Farms and working as the head gardener at Primo Restaurant in Rockland, Maine for two-time James Beard award winning chef Melissa Kelly, I want to introduce you to a garden-to-table style of growing food where production and beauty intersect. 


I am Jacinda Martinez, and I am here to help guide you through the process of growing food in an organic and sustainable way that meets your time demands and culinary needs. Grounded Local is committed to educating and empowering people to maximize the full potential of their growing spaces.
